Nearly every roof call on the Coastal Bend is one of three things. Wind has lifted or torn something off and there is an insurance claim in it. The roof has reached the end of its life and you want a number before you commit. Or water is getting in at one spot and the rest of the roof is fine.
They are different jobs with different costs and different paperwork, and the biggest mistake is treating the second one as the first. A roof that is simply old is not a claim, and a contractor who tells you otherwise is steering you somewhere you do not want to be.
